Commingle:Engage to Launch No-Cost Service to Help Hotels Book Local Drive Business

PARSIPPANY, NJ – March 30, 2020 –  commingle:engage, by Lodging Interactive, the hospitality industry’s premier provider of full-service social media marketing and guest reputation management services today announced it is planning to launch a new service to help hotels book local business opportunities.  StayPlayExplore.travel will offer locally curated content and hotel offers to target staycations and local social event opportunities. The service will be offered free of charge to hotels.
“I believe the hospitality industry will recover in stages, with the first stage being leisure travelers who will be anxious to venture out of their homes once it’s safe to do so. Air travel will have a longer recovery period as the consumer’s mindset will need to ‘reset’ that it’s also safe to travel by airplane,” said Mr. DJ Vallauri, Founder, CEO & President of Lodging Interactive. “Hotel marketers need to plan, now, for the recovery and have strategic tactics to capture as much localized business as possible. We believe  StayPlayExplore.travel should be part of every hoteliers’ marketing toolbox.”
StayPlayExplore.travel will provide each hotel with a unique and property-specific landing page to promote the hotel’s local attributes. Local attributes such as things to do, open attractions, open dining options and local experiences that place the hotel as ‘home base’ where consumers can return to at the end of the day. In addition, properties will have the ability to highlight their own special features and benefits, such as free breakfast, free parking and (potentially) a free car wash by partnering with a local vendor. All the local content will be humanly curated by the hotel itself to ensure it is specific and beneficial to the property.
Each  StayPlayExplore.travel  hotel page will include links to the property’s social media accounts and, most importantly, the ability for consumers to connect via Facebook’s Messenger service.
Lodging Interactive and Commingle:Engage will provide the landing page platform and all associated hosting and technology services, pro-bono. This free service is available to any hotel, independent or branded.  StayPlayExplore.travel is especially useful for branded properties that have limited abilities to post local content and offers via their brand websites.
“Last week I recorded a LinkedIn video about our intentions to leverage our technology, our know-how, and our experienced team members in ways that could help our struggling hospitality industry. I’m pleased and honored to support hotels with this free service in hopes that it will drive business to them,” said Vallauri.
Properties can visit  StayPlayExplore.travel to get on the waitlist for this free service. The service is anticipated to launch by April 15, 2020.
