For a limited time, expedition cruise specialists Rainforest Cruises are offering free land tours with select Galapagos Islands and Amazon River cruises in 2021 with flexible booking conditions. UNITED STATES - July 8, 2020 - Rainforest Cruises today revealed new and exclusive package deals with flexible booking conditions for 2021 cruises in two of South America’s most sought after wildlife hotspots. Guests booking select Galapagos Islands or Peruvian Amazon River cruises at rainforestcruises.com will receive land tour extensions, in Ecuador or Peru respectively, worth up to $4,000 free of charge.
“The
Galapagos and the Peruvian Amazon are two of the most remote travel
destinations imaginable, so given that any trip requires transit via Ecuador
or Peru, what better way to compliment a cruise than a complimentary land
tour extension in that country?” said Jeremy Clubb, the company's
founder. “We know there is still some uncertainty around when it will
be safe to travel, so with these deals we are offering travelers our most
flexible booking conditions yet, allowing them to postpone their trip up to a
year later, for any reason, up to 30 days before their trip begins.”
A free
land tour in Peru is available for select 2021 Amazon River cruises aboard the luxury 38-passenger Zafiro, which operates
4, 5 and 8-day departures deep into the heart of the Pacaya-Samiria National
Reserve – two million hectares of protected rainforest in the Peruvian
Amazon. The cruise is family friendly with four suites being interconnectable
and many fitting a roll-away bed suitable for children younger than 12. It
includes a fully-accessible suite for those with mobility issues, and
features exercise and massage rooms and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Daily excursions
may include piranha fishing, jungle trekking, kayaking, swimming with pink
dolphins, indigenous village visits and skiff rides – all accompanied by
expert local naturalist guides.
Guests
booking a 4-day cruise will receive a free 2-night treehouse stay in the
rainforest canopy and free airfare between Lima and Iquitos. Those booking a
5-day cruise will receive a free 5-night Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu
Picchu tour in 4* accommodations. Guests booking an 8-day cruise can choose
between a free 2-night premium stay in Lima with a half-day city tour or a
free 5-night Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour in 5* accommodations.
4-day cruises start from $2,750 per person, 5-day cruises from $3,650 per
person and 8-day cruises from $6,350 per person. Packages include all
accommodations, excursions and private transfers.
The
Land Tour Give-Away also applies to select 2021 Galapagos Islands cruises. The mid-range Archipel I catamaran and Solaris yacht
operate 4, 5 or 8-day itineraries to the archipelago’s Western and Eastern
islands, and the first-class Treasure of the Galapagos catamaran operates a
choice of 5-day itineraries to the Eastern islands that are included in the
offer. Each vessel accommodates just 16 passengers, comfortable sea-view
cabins and spacious social areas, with the Treasure additionally including a
Jacuzzi. Daily excursions include walking, hiking, kayaking, swimming,
snorkeling and dinghy rides – all accompanied by expert naturalist guides
certified by the Galapagos National Park.
Guests
booking a 4 or 5-day cruise will receive a free 2-night stay in Quito with a
private half-day city tour. Those booking an 8-day cruise will receive a free
3-night stay in Quito with a private half-day city tour. 4-day cruises start
from $2,029 per person, 5-day from $2,829 per person and 8-day cruises from
$4,579 per person. Packages include all 4* accommodations, excursions and
private transfers.
